Danielle Ameling and John Chargo of Marion announce their engagement and approaching wedding.
Parents of the bride-elect are Dave and Dianne Ameling of Ossian. Parents of the future bridegroom are Tori and Jim Riley of Jefferson and Dan and Brenda Chargo of Glidden.
Danielle is a 2005 graduate of South Winneshiek High School and a 2009 graduate of Grand View University with a degree in graphic design. She owns her own business, Iron Leaf Press, a design and letterpress studio in the Mount Vernon-Lisbon area.
John is a 2003 graduate of Jefferson-Scranton High School and a 2007 graduate of Iowa State University. He has since earned a master’s degree in systems engineering from ISU and a master of business administration degree from the University of Iowa. He is a senior software engineer at Innovative Software Engineering in Coralville.
The couple plans to wed Oct. 3 at Ossian Lutheran Church in Ossian.
